Dolce&Gabbana and IIT come together to celebrate the excellence\u00a0of Italian research in the technological field and its infinite applications<\/strong><\/h4>\n

<\/p>\n

On the occasion of the Fall-Winter 2021\/22 Women\u2019s Fashion Show broadcast streaming today,\u00a0March 1st at 4.00 pm CET, the multifunctional humanoid robots iCub and R1, the result of IIT\u2019s\u00a0highly specialized research activity in the field of service robotics and Artificial Intelligence, will\u00a0be involved in the show.<\/p>\n

Once again, Dolce&Gabbana stands alongside an Italian organization of esteemed primary\u00a0importance, which contributes to the international scientific community commitment in order to\u00a0create advanced solutions to daily needs: cutting-edge robotic technologies, which gain an even\u00a0greater fascination as they are the result of intelligence, creativity and commitment of the human\u00a0being.<\/p>\n

\u201cI was pleasantly surprised by Dolce&Gabbana\u2019s invitation to involve IIT and two of its best-known\u00a0and most important robotic creations such as iCub and R1 in this event. Observing our robots on a\u00a0fashion catwalk makes us feel close to the wider public following these events, thus demonstrating\u00a0that the results of scientific research are a common heritage available to all. Dolce&Gabbana\u2019s\u00a0creativity and our technological vision compose together a really effective picture<\/em>\u201d.<\/p>\n
