IIT community discussing the impact of COVID-19 emergency on their life and research
How is this healthcare emergency COVID-19 re-shaping our habits? What is changing in our workplaces and around the world? The IIT community around the globe fires up the engine of their videoconf tools and virtually gather to share impressions and information.
During this second episode, we talk with Yue Hu, IIT Alumna and now Postdoc Fellow at the National Institute of Advanced Industrial Science and Technology based in Tsukuba, Japan and with Jorhabib Eljaik, IIT Alumnus and currently working at GoPro in Paris as Senior Sensor Fusion Engineer.
They discuss what local government have implemented so far and the difference between where they are now and where their families live. Furthermore, talking with Daniele Pucci, Head of the Dynamic Interaction Control Research Line who they used to collaborate with while in IIT, they compare different ways of keeping up with work, despite the distance from the lab and their colleagues.
IIT Alumni is the community that stems from the intention of maintaining strong relationships of friendship and collaboration among everyone who has been part of our “big family”. Marco Monga, IIT HR Director, also participates and moderates the call.
Introduction by IIT Alumni Relations Administrator Sylvia Mondinelli.
