Dario Farina è Full Professor all’Imperial College di Londra

Dario Farina è  stato Professore Ordinario presso l’Università di Aalborg, Danimarca (fino al 2010) e all’University Medical Center Göttingen, Georg-August University, in Germania, dove ha fondato e diretto l’Institute of Neurorehabilitation Systems (2010-2016). La sua ricerca si concentra sull’elaborazione del segnale biomedico, sulla tecnica di neuroriabilitazione e sul controllo neurale del movimento. All’interno di queste aree, è (co) – autore di circa  400 articoli in riviste peer-reviewed. È stato presidente della International Society of Electrophysiology and Kinesiology (ISEK) (2012-2014) ed è attualmente capo redattore del Journal of Electromyography and Kinesiology.

Dario Farina is currently Full Professor and Chair in Neurorehabilitation Engineering at the Department of Bioengineering of the Imperial College London, UK. Among other awards, he has been the recipient of the IEEE Engineering in Medicine and Biology Society Early Career Achievement Award (2010). He has also received continuous funding by the European Research Council since 2011. His research focuses on biomedical signal processing, neurorehabilitation technology, and neural control of movement.
